This blogspot is a safe space for us to share our thoughts about the course reading assignments as we grapple with the rhetoric of gender. Feel free to post any insights, comments, questions, or reactions you might have about the assigned texts once a week and reply to one of your classmate's posts to extend the conversation outside the classroom -- please refer to our course syllabus instructions for more detail about this assignment.
Aside from whole class discussion, certain posts may morph into possible topics for your writing projects so keep an open mind as we examine connections between conventional gender roles in social and literary communication practices. We will analyze rhetorical
texts from the intersections of gender, race, class, and other
interrelated systems.
